J & J's prides themselves on maintaining high quality broodmares.   Our brood stock come from strong lines such as Shi Dee Bar, Red Sonny Dee, Sunny Dee Bar, Sonny Dee Bar, Mr. Norfleet, The Invester, Tin Man, Blue Max, Jetalito, Conclusive, Impressive, to name a few. 

We consistently produce babies with gorgeous heads, nice big hips, good minds, and sweet dispositions...AND beautiful color.   Our off-spring can be seen in places such as the halter and western pleasure arena (open, amateur, & professional), even on the trail.  

Norfleets Sonny (Daisy)

As a broodmare, Daisy has produced beautiful foals for us in a wide range of colors, including a flashy, sorrel sabino colt in 2005.  She has also produced foals of black bay and bay in color.

Maggie was the first foal born at J&J's Painted Oak Ranch. 

On February 4, 2007, Maggie produced a beautiful, tri-colored, framed black, bay and white Overo out of Paint N Dreams.

Norfleets Dakota RL (Nora)

Nora's bloodlines contain the likes of Sonny's Norfleet, Mr. Norfleet and Hank Bar Ray. Her foals are big with healthy hips and chests.

Sophie is the 'newbie' at J&J's Painted Oak Ranch.  Sophie holds a special place in our hearts as she is a full sister to my very first horse, Robin. We had Robin for many many years and hope that Sophie will be as nice a mare and producer as her sister.
